About Lafourche Parish Criminal History

Lafourche Parish criminal records are split among the sheriff, courts, Louisiana State Police, state corrections, and the Louisiana Sex Offender and Child Predator Registry. No one office holds the full picture. This privately run reference site organizes the official portals, office details, and request paths so readers can identify the right public custodian without searching a maze of agency pages.

Why We Built This Site

Louisiana divides record custody by function. Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Office manages its reports, parish booking data, the jail roster, and warrant information. The Lafourche Parish Clerk of Court preserves filed charges, minutes, dispositions, and copies from the 17th Judicial District Court. Louisiana State Police BCII maintains the statewide LACCH repository, while Louisiana DPS&C and the Louisiana Sex Offender and Child Predator Registry cover other parts of the record system. The site brings the supported request steps, fees, contacts, and official search routes together.

What You Will Find Here

  • Agency contacts: where to reach Lafourche Parish Judicial Services, the Clerk of Court, and state record custodians
  • Record guides: how local criminal court cases, bookings, and registry records are found and read
  • Official self-review paths: how Louisiana Right to Review and LAPS fingerprint processing work through State Police
  • Record relief basics: where Lafourche expungement forms are filed and which official instructions govern the process

What We Cannot Do

This is a privately run reference site, not part of a Louisiana court, sheriff's office, police department, or state agency. Its role has firm limits:

  • We cannot run an official background check or pull a criminal record for anyone
  • We cannot file expungement petitions, records requests, or any other paperwork on your behalf
  • We cannot issue certified copies of any criminal record, court document, or rap sheet
  • We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific charge or case applies to you
  • We cannot promise that every published phone number, fee, address, or office schedule is still current

Only the Lafourche sheriff, the appropriate court, Louisiana State Police BCII, or another originating agency can issue an official record.

Search Partners

Third-party providers power search boxes on some pages and control their own prices, data practices, and results. A paid signup reached through one of those tools may produce a referral fee that supports the site. We do not set those charges or verify those results. Official or certified records must still come from the agency that maintains them.
